The Saltburn War Memorial was designed by sculptor Sir William Reynolds-Stephens and was unveiled to the public on Sunday 14th November 1920 and also re-dedicated on Sunday 2nd October 2016.
It’s a grade II listed feature and was ever so kindly gifted to Saltburn by anonymous donors and more recently the local residents and also Lt Col. N.L. Cohen Charitable Trust and the Les Bell Family Fund.
It features 64 names on the memorial from the First World War and 20 from the Second World War. In which it showcases the first and last names of those individuals who died in both world wars.
