Saltburn Gill is a beautiful, serene 52 acre woodland of Saltburn where in Spring you will drift through bluebells and wild garlic – in which it is set in a secluded valley.
Winding paths of ash tree’s, oak tree’s and holly help to portray it’s beautiful nature – one you must visit, and has been present since approximately 1600.
The conditions at Saltburn Gill can be damp and humid, which helps the plants and wildlife to thrive – especially the six different types of ferns that are currently growing.
Here at Saltburn.org.uk we have a number of recommended walks, that you should try – the nature reserve being one of them.
