Here at Saltburn.org.uk we are quite proud of our local community and heritage. Whether this is the wonderful pier, the cliff lift, the beach, its Victorian Town or its scenic walks.
It seems that we aren’t the only ones who would like to show Saltburn for what it really is.
Weekend Escapes will be airing on a Tuesday evening at 18:30 on BBC2, will see Robson Green and local TV actor Mark Benton in showing Saltburn and the local area off to the rest of the UK.
The TV show will commence with a total of 15 episodes, in which episode 2 will feature Saltburn. It was believed that the episodes were filmed in August last year as they stroll along Saltburn beach eating a lemon top.
Also featured in the Weekend Escapes are local places such as Staithes and also the River Tees as part of the tour of the UK’s pretties places – according to the BBC.
