Plans Submitted For Dog Adventure Park

Redcar and Cleveland Council has announced that 8 acres of land situated between Saltburn and Brotton has seen planning submitted to council planners.

The 8 acres of land opposide Ladgate Farm on Saltburn Road will be where the facility is situated.

This application has seen plans for a 1.8m high post and wire fence to help support the dogs in keeping safe for both a training and exercise point of view.

The application states:

“The land which has been identified for this use is within a field that has only ever been used for grazing due to the steep hills within it.”

“The current agricultural use for the rest of the field will remain unchanged, with the owners own retired ponies and a few sheep continuing to graze. “

“The Dog Park will mainly remain grass land, with an area allowed to grow long to improve the biodiversity of the field, encouraging native flowers to grow.”
